Full Band Camp: August 4-8, 2025

 

2025 Weekly Rehearsals between Full Band Camp and the first day of School:

August 12 (T), 14 (Th), 18 (M), and 21 (Th), 2025 (6:00-8:00 pm)

*M - Monday, T - Tuesday, Th - Thursday

 

2026 Band Camp Dates

Drum Line Camp: August 3-7, 2026

Full Band Camp: August 10-14, 2026

 

2026 Weekly Rehearsals between Full Band Camp and the first day of School:

August 17 (M) and 20 (Th), 2026 (6:00-8:00 pm)

 

2027 Band Camp Dates

Drum Line Camp: August 2-6, 2027

Full Band Camp: August 9-13, 2027

 

2027 Weekly Rehearsals between Full Band Camp and the first day of School:

August 16 (M) and 19 (Th), 2027 (6:00-8:00 pm)

Registration is for all members of the Grimsley Band program.  This includes all concert band classes, jazz ensemble members, drum line members and marching band members.  If you are enrolled in a band class for the 2025-26 school year, please register using the provided link.

 

Summer Band Camps:

Percussion Camp: July 28-August 1, 2025 (8:30 am-4:30 pm) 

Monday-Thursday: 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Friday: 8:30 am-12:00 pm

Auditions for the drum line will be on Monday, July 28 beginning at 8:30 am.

Full Band Camp: August 4-8, 2025 (Please see times below) - This is for ALL students participating in marching band.

Monday-Wednesday: 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Thursday: 9-00 am-6:15 pm

Friday: 8:30 am-12:00 pm

There will be a question at the bottom that states you are aware of the summer band camp dates.  Please try to schedule all vacations and trips around these dates.  If you have a conflict, please contact Mr. Ray so that alternate arrangements can be made if needed.  

 

Summer Rehearsal:

Friday, August 22nd - Football Game 

*These rehearsals are between band camp and the first day of school.  The time for these is 6:00-8:00 pm.

***Please do not register to take Driver's Education during the marching band season.  

 

Marching Band Registration Info Question

There is a question at the end of the registration that will help Mr. Ray get a better handle on the instrumentation for the marching band.  All students are required to participate in marching band.  Exemptions from marching band are allowed but need to be discussed with Mr. Ray.  On the form, please select the appropriate response for your student's marching band participation.

There will be two choices:

1. I plan on participating in the marching band.

2. I have a potential conflict and would like to discuss a possible exemption (ex: fall sports participant, jazz ensemble, etc.). 

Exemptions will be considered, but all may not be approved.  

If you select an exemption request, please enter it on the registration form.  Each request is an individual need, I will review the request and respond prior to June 1, 2025.
